Sermon Tone Analysis

These comments stem from a video that was posted the 9th of July and asked that I comment of it.

At the same time I have been asked my opinion on public school vs. Christian school vs.

Home School.

History and spiritual lesson

In the video the man was up in arms about a satan club in an elementary school.

He used words like witchcraft, desensitizing our kids to the devil, manipulation, devil worship...

All things that we should be very concerned about it.

Let’s look at what this is, a private club promoting their agenda that happens to be satanism...

Do they have a right to do so?

As American citizens, do they have the right?

Why was this nations founded?

FREEDOM OF RELIGION!

Whose perception of right matters here?

The one holding the belief!

1st amendment

Freedom of speech, press, religion, assembly and petition

Even if it’s a belief that Satan is the one we worship...

The constitution says I have that right!

They have the same right to promote satan as we have to promote Jesus...

In the eye’s of the constitution, it is one and the same!

Do we as godly parents have the right to oppose that within the law?

Yes, the same right they have to oppose us within the law.

Do I have a problem with satan club in elementary schools?

Yes.

Do I want them to ban it?

No!

Why?

If you ban them, you ban us!

BANNING THINGS IS ALMOST NEVER THE ANSWER!

Unless it is banned in the Word of God...

Rather than throwing a fit about the perversion of a perverted society, how about training your children in such a way you have to worries about them worshiping satan...

How about training them so well they can join the club and find the hungry, searching kids in the room and introduce them to what they are really looking for: Jesus!

Here is the problem with freedom...

It’s not free!

We say that on Memorial Day, Veterans Day and Independence Day but...

Not just the cost of life but the cost in living!

Military vs. daily vigilance

We have a responsibility to maintain freedom with good daily decisions.

Freedom is self destructive!

Freedom produces indulgence!

Founding father’s tried to fight this by establishing not a democracy but a representative republic!

Democracy within rule of law.

Democracy alone is simply mob rule!

See this played out in our schools today… here’s what I mean:

100 yrs ago this club would never have been allowed.

But bad decision were left unchecked!

Why was this man so upset with a satan club but not clubs promoting homosexuality, gay rights, condom machines in High School bathroom, school sponsored trips to abortion clinics, or a plethora of other godless, antichrist philosophy?

Why hasn’t someone threw a fit because the pledge of allegiance is not permitted, or in the classrooms that it is said students don’t have to participate, place there hands over there heart and be disrespectful?

You don’t go from a godly classroom to godless over one summer

BUT OVER DECADES OF PEOPLE NOT BEING HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR BAD DECISIONS!

AMERICA HAS BOUNDARY ISSUES!

If you are worried about satan having access to our classrooms than you are ignorant of the facts!

HE HAS HAD LONG ACCESS TO OUR CLASSROOMS!

His access was not through satan clubs but through silent, prayer-less parents and voiceless, unteaching pastors!

His access is through every movie you allow in your home that promotes Satans agenda

Every cuss word, sex scene, make-out in the back seat, every every unjust act we allow into our homes, you are giving satan access.

He has access through music, social media, internet...

HE HAS UNRESTRICTED ACCESS TO ALMOST EVERY ASPECT OF OUR LIVES!

We hand them a master key to access all the perversion in this society in the form of a smart phone!

So what do we do?

Run for the hills!

Hide! Live in fear!

I love the message for word pictures!

We don’t cower in fear… we do what we should have always done from the beginning!

We be vigilant!

We watch!

We pray!

We get and stay involved!

AND WE TEACH OUR KIDS!

At every possible moment… morning, noon, night and in-between!

Conclusion:

So here is where I make you mad…

That means we should send them to private, christian schools or home school then?

That means that we should send the to Bible college

Should we send them to public schools?

PUBLIC SCHOOLS:

Sexual perversion

Sexual promiscuity

Other issues; politics, extra biblical teaching (evolution)

CHRISTIAN SCHOOL:

False doctrine

HOME SCHOOL

Isolation

APOSTOLIC CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

Isolation

Major issues with ALL - ALL WITH MAJOR SOLUTIONS!

ALL with SAME solutions!

Honestly: IMO false doctrine is the one I worry about with this…

More than perversion, isolation or anything else.

Works as seed planted that can lay in the soil of a heart for years.

Answer: It does not matter where you decide to send your kids, JUST BE VIGILANT!

Parents don’t be pressured one way or the other...

What ever you do, be vigilant!

Active!

Rules:

Public schools: meet the teachers, don’t just talk to them - look at the books they have on their shelves, read your kids text books, know their assignments, know their friends, know their parents friends, listen to your kids, read between the lines, PRAY OVER THEM EVERY DAY.

The last couple years I left my wife do all the talking and I would walk the halls with a bottle of oil, anointing doors!

Private schools: same as public plus teach your kids the truth.

If they have a lesson on something extra biblical, have a bible study night and don’t be afraid to say “while we will always be respectful, here is where Mr. Smith is wrong!” and teach them!

Home School: Same as other plus have designated times and places to work.
