A little sleep, a little slumber,

A little folding of the hands to sleep—

The characteristic of the age is a desire for an easy time. This is true in serving God as in a great many other things. People want an easy time with no self-denial involved. People want the benefits of the faith without the self-denial of the the faith/ Taking up the cross has become draining and not in line with the modern ideology of “self first”, I’ll do what makes me happy, and if it is an inconvenience, if it is something that interferes with my plans, if it requires commitment by me other than what I am comfortable with, including time, gatherings, and so on - then I am not going to do it. And on this poorly accepted theology the church and Christianity falls to the world and psychology replaces Biblical Theology. and therefore Thus, many do not want any spiritual exercise is left by the wayside by many. They do not want:

1. To Pray.

A. God’s Word is clear to our call to pray. 1 Thes. 5:17 Luke 18:1

B. Satan tries to convince you that it too much to pray (or) pray for.
