Define what the future should look like
I see a church continually developing an environment that fosters spiritual discovery and growth for every age.
This environment is one of acceptance for those who are new, competence for those who hurt, and authenticity for those who are skeptics of organized religion.
The following items administered with excellence will produce such an environment:
Ø Kids growth environment – Here children can find a home for all extra activities such as school, recreation, parties, athletics, and youth oriented service to our community and to the world.
Ø Authentic Worship environment - Here, new and more expressive ways to worship God in Spirit and Truth are continually explored.
A music ministry is actively using the various gifts and talents of members.
Drama and other means of communication are continually explored to provide an environment where God is worshipped with intensity.
Ø Support Groups – Our world is filled with broken families, alcohol and drug abuse, grief and suffering, and a myriad of other problems.
As a church we can provide an environment of acceptance and help for those who are hurting.
In other words;
I see a church that becomes the center point of a family’s life.
It is there they find a safe learning environment for their children.
It is there they find help when life gets tough.
It is there they find a place to serve and make their life count.
It is there they find an avenue of expression to worship God and grow in their relationship with Him.
Wouldn’t it be great to have a safe loving environment to raise your kids and live your life without the fears that come with so many other places in the world?
You bring your kids to one campus from pre-school through graduation.
At that same place you watch your children walk across a stage and receive a diploma.
You come to the same place to watch them compete in sports, and perform on stage.
You come to that same place to worship and learn of God.
This same place is where the grandparents live and one day you will just move there yourself as you retire for service.
Wouldn’t it be great if all this was done with 1st class excellence, and all our kids were sent out into this world with a 1st class education and a 1st class foundation with God?
It can happen.
