Jeremiah 29:6 NKJV
6 Take wives and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons and give your daughters to husbands, so that they may bear sons and daughters—that you may be increased there, and not diminished.

1. Before there was a Nation or a Church, God ordained family.

To be sure, the plain reading of the text is that The Lord of Heaven and earth wants the Nation of Isreal to increase in captivity.
This proves that our Father, is not mad at Isreal, He is moving them back to their roots.
Family is the first institution.
Exodus 20:12 NKJV
12 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
Ephesians 6:4 NKJV
4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.
we are only one chapter into the bible before we see a marriage.
The first murder we see is because of sibling rivalry. family is important
Genesis 2:8–9 NKJV
8 The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. 9 And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

2. We are put in families to learn about Life and God.

We are teach our children how to live and work.
Proverbs 22:6 NKJV
6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.
Deuteronomy 11:19 NKJV
19 You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

3. When we mess up we have to make up.

Matthew 5:23–24 NKJV
23 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
it takes effort.
it takes time.
it takes self awareness.
it takes grace.
