Born of the Imperishable
What We are Born of
Everything born of this world will wither and fall (vs24).
God worked a miracle of salvation in us through His Word (Romans 10:17).
The Word of God that brough us life will never perish or fade.
Love
We must put away what doesn’t fit with the new birth we’ve been given (2:1).
Our call to love lines up with what God has done for us.
We must have a whole-hearted love for others.
Desire
Our hunger must be what the true, spiritual Word of God.
A hunger for the word will lead to true growth in our lives.
In this pursuit, we must always remember that God is good.
