Luke 6:31 NKJV
31 And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.
8. We made a list of all persons we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them all.

Have you ever noticed the word ‘became’ next to willing?

a. The word ‘became’ next to willing indicates a process that The Lord commands, and the Holy Spirit requires.

Matthew 5:23–24 NKJV
23 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

b. At some point I need to stop ‘Praying’ or ‘thinking’ about it or ‘working’ on it and get to doing it.

When is the last time you looked back on your personal history without the intoxication of my f-e-e-l-i-n-g-s?

Am I being fair and balanced? Am I so stuck on my side that I cant see how my own self pity justified my actions?

When is the last time I considered how my actions accelerated the situation.?

Sanity break: I’m not saying that every situation is entirely your fault!

Rather, I am saying the life unmanageable brought you here, is it possible that your life has been unmanageable for longer than you realized?

Further, is it possible that the insanity that brought you here worked in ways that you never considered?

This program exists to stop you from being destructive to yourself and others.

all of this talk about making amends does not exist to condemn you. it exist to free you from yourself, that you may excel in works of grace instead of grief.

the primary goal is to be of service to God and others. I’d rather take people with me to serve God and others, rather than playing peek a boo with people.

Tonight’s question: In what ways did self pity keep me from being honest with my self about my Part ?
