Nature of Paul’s ministry Vv 1-2

A persevering gospel ministry because of God’s mercy. V 1

A ministry to display the truth of God’s word. V 2

Ministry veiled to the perishing Vv 3-4

But the gospel is veiled to the perishing. V 3

Satan has blinded the minds of unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel. V 4

Ministry of light in the darkness. Vv 5-6

Paul’s proclamation is Jesus Christ as Lord. V 5

God shines in our hearts to give the light of knowledge God’s glory. V 6
