4 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, 3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

25 Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. 26 “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, 27 nor give place to the devil. 28 Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. 29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption

To try to sum this up in a nutshell this morning, it is time to turn the Holy Ghost loose and let Him have His way.
As I sat this morning and remembered reading through the gifts of the Spirit Wednesday evening, and remembering the record of the Day of Pentecost, I wondered what has happened to that church.
All the power, all the Promise, all the inheritance that Jesus brought to us we have settled for a wedge of gold, a bag of silver and a wordly garment. (ACHAN in Joshua 7)
It is time we remember the Promise of the Father Luke 24:49 ““Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.””
Joel 2:28-29 ““And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.”
However, today we have become the church God spoke about in Is.65 “A rebellious people to whom God out stretches His arms, a people who walk not in a good way according to our own thoughts, who provoke God to jealousies by an adulterous heart.
It is time we heed the wooing of the Spirit of God again letting Him guide us back to the Father.
It is time to put off the restraints that we have put on, Pentecost, To allow Pentecost to be what God intended Him to be.
The power of God working in us, the same power that worked in Christ.
The nation of Israel grieved God in the wilderness and at the entry of the Promised land and because they could not believe in Him they were denied access to the Promise.
Today’s Pentecost has become what i will term a tamed Pentecost, I say that only because man thinks he has God operating the way He wants Him to operate.
Today many have a man-made Pentecost. One that fits their religious walk, because today we are too dignified it would be embarrassing if someone saw us act like those holy rollers, and fanatics. Today people want a Pentecost that coddles them and makes them feel good,
The Bible says This same Spirit; we like Saul want to conjure up a spirit, rather than to allow The Spirit free reign.
This same Spirit that rose Christ from the dead, that healed the sick, but more importantly it convicted men, women, boys and girls of their sin.
Joel 2 God said of His Spirit, He would pour it out and sons and daughters would prophesy; old men would dream dreams, young men would see visions, all types of people would experience something the¥ could not do on their own.
I can’t has become the excuse of the day, you have said it, I have said only to be reminded we are right, however Paul said to the Phillipian Church I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME.
However, it was an upper room experience where a 120 unlearned scared individuals found and ability to do what they had never done before.
IT IS TIME WE ALLOW THE WIND OF PENTECOST TO BLOW AGAIN, THE WIND OF CHANGE TO BLOW US BACK TO WHAT PENTECOST IS MEANT TO BE.
The power that speaks of Christ’s birth, life, death, burial and resurrection, that was Peter’s message in Acts 10 to the house of Cornelius, it is what Phillip preached at Samaria and the Spirit of God moved.
It is time the world see again the power of Christ operating in His churches again, this tamed version of Pentecost is not changing lives, but true Pentecost led sinners to repentance, they cried out what must we do to be saved.
LORD! Let the Spirit fall on us it He did them!
If we will get out of the way and let the Spirit Lead us again, Nothing will be impossible!
