Genesis 3:2 ESV
And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden,

EDUCATION

PEERS

THE CHURCH

II. HOW DO WE BUILD A CHRISTIAN WORLDVIEW?

A. Teach the Lordship of Christ.

B. Build a high view of scripture

2 Timothy 3:16 ESV
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,

C. Model what you teach and expect.

1 Corinthians 11:1 ESV
Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.

D. Shape your discipline around the values of a biblical worldview?

1. From the perspective of the worldview principles:

a. Creation: How do biblical teachings about creation shape how I see this child and the situation

b. Redemption: How do biblical teachings about redemption shape the way I can view and handle this situation?

c. Restoration: How do biblical teachings about restoration shape the way I can view and handle this situation?

2. From the Perspective of the classroom

a. Known: - What do I know about this student that helps me make a godly decision in this situation

b. Discipled: How can I intentionally and specifically form Christ in this student?

c. Instructed: In what ways can I help the student to be better prepared to learn (content/relationships)?

d. Loved: How can I show Christ’s love to this student?

III. YOUR HOMEWORK

Lead teachers are to meet with the teachers they relate to and develop a framework that they will use to do two things:

1. Keep one-another accountable regarding the modeling of a Christlike attitude and character among the staff and student

2. Keep one another accountable for executing the four principles of an applied Christian Worldview in the life of our students.

3. I want this printed plan from each teacher no later than Monday by noon.
