Tonight we will be praying for Student, teacher, and administrators for the 2022-2023 school year.

Praying that Teachers and school administrators would receive students as gifts from God.

Psalm 127:3–5 NASB95
3 Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward. 4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. 5 How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They will not be ashamed When they speak with their enemies in the gate.
Jeremiah 1:5 NASB95
5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
Praying that they would have grace and patients.
Praying that they would love and pray over their students.
Praying that student are taught well and that they would be bold, unashamed, about their faith in school knowing the Kingdom of heaven belongs to them.
Proverbs 22:6 NASB95
6 Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Isaiah 54:13 NASB95
13 “All your sons will be taught of the Lord; And the well-being of your sons will be great.
Matthew 19:14 NASB95
14 But Jesus said, “Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Praying that students will not feel inferior because of their age, but they would live Christlike lives, and be an example for their peers and teachers.
1 Timothy 4:12 NASB95
12 Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.
Psalm 119:9 NASB95
9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your word.

Praying that you would use student and their teachers to be examples and their lives would be an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.

Matthew 5:13 NASB95
13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.
Ephesians 5:1–5 NASB95
1 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; 2 and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma. 3 But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints; 4 and there must be no filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

Praying that students would be effective sharing of the faith.

Philemon 4–6 NASB95
4 I thank my God always, making mention of you in my prayers, 5 because I hear of your love and of the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints; 6 and I pray that the fellowship of your faith may become effective through the knowledge of every good thing which is in you for Christ’s sake.

Praying students have passion for Jesus and that the Holy Spirit would keep them pure throughout the year.

1 Thessalonians 5:23–25 NASB95
23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. 25 Brethren, pray for us.
