FACULTY EXPECTATIONS/ MANUAL

BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW

Starting in September (ending in December) we will begin walking through the four aspects of a Christian worldview: creation, fall, redemption and restoration

Each month teachers will respond to a brief survey regarding the following: Based on your lessons for this month what did you learn with regard to one or all of the components of the Christian worldview.

Ladies – Professional dress - (See handbook)

Please note the attire and show styles

Men – Professional dress includes:

a. Dress shirt tie (optional) and dress pants.

b. Hair cut properly and kept neat – must meet the same standards as students

c. Clean shaven

d. Beard and moustache are permissible if kept neat and clean in appearance.

e. Sweater and sweater vest with a shirt and tie

f. No denim or cargo pants

g. No loud and and/or tight fitting clothing

Friday Faculty Dress

a. A DCS polo shirt may be worn with jeans.

b. If you choose not to wear the polo shirt, daily professional standards apply

2. Daily Prayer: 7:45/8am

PROFESSIONALISM

Be on time

Be faithful and diligent in your duties

Be timely in communicating and responding to parents

Be intentional in cultivating a Christian environment in your classroom and the school

Work hard to maintain unity
