For the teaching today we will be looking at Psalms 1: verses 1-6 and we are going to be looking at three very key points.
1, Walking
2, Standing
3, sitting
Now Before I start today's teaching let me start with a true story and close it with question.
Once we get into our teaching today you will see the connection.
While I was in line to cross the border into the US this gentlemen walked up to my window with a proposition.
Before I tell you the proposition let me tell you this about where I was at.
And I want you to picture yourself in my seat.
I was Tired, I was thirsty, I was hungry and I needed to go to the bathroom really bad.
(“ So this guy says to me in English, Hey man I can get you to the front of the line and save you about 2 hours.
Some would be tempted to look at it as a blessing in light of everything I just told you.
So I was at a cross road .
The question to myself was am I going to be taking shortcuts to God.
Well, the reality to that question is that there aren’t any shortcuts to God.
Lets get into our scriptures this morning and find out why there aren’t any shortcuts to God.
