What is Truth?
¿Que es la verdad?
Last week we engaged on a journey talking about truth.
This is a much needed topic for us today because everything we experience must find itself in what we know to be true.
We talked about how truth matters, and that there is so much in this world that distorts the truth just a little.
It either causes us to doubt the truth we know, or causes us to believe something that is not the truth.
The First Lie - la Primera Mentira
The first lie was not a statement.
It was not an outright falsehood.
The first lie was a question to instill doubt.
We ask questions about what we know is true until even that becomes untrustworthy.
How do we ever know what is and what is not true?
It is like trying to ask a fish to define the world around it.
The fish may have beliefs and views, but they cannot be accurate for anything outside the bowl.
So how do we know what is true about God?
It must not be from man’s perspective, it must be what God says is true about Himself.
He gave us the Bible so we can understand what He says is true.
What God says is True about Himself - Lo que Dios dice es Verdad acerca de Sí mismo
What we handed out to you is 34 things about God.

Conclusion vs. Decision - Conclusión vs Decisión
We can receive the Word declared today and conclude that God is a bunch of things.
Or, we can decide to learn more about God.
To make the Bible the foundation of truth in our lives.
Is there an area of your life that you don’t want to submit to the truth of who God is, because you will have to change your behavior?
Let us be people who see God as He says He is, and let that flow into our relationship with Him.
Let’s Pray.
