To begin with brothers and sisters the first thing I’d like to teach talk and tell us about is some of the basic doctrines that in the Bible. And as we delve deep down into the delivering dogmas doctrines and disciplines it’s important to note that we all bring our own belief to the table. We all bring our own acculturation and we all bring our own Ideologies about God’s Word. And so Let’s get started.

1. Spiritual Resurrection: This is where every person who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, that person is transformed into a new creature from the Creator. The Creator is Elohim meaning the Godhead plural “God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.” And so Spiritual Resurrection has to do with the Doctrine of Regeneration. Regeneration means a change of Heart. It means I have a heart make over It’s almost like God taking out the old Heart and putting in a new and better heart. Let’s get into the Scripture that supports the Doctrine of Regeneration. John 3:3 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Unless a man/woman is born again Unless that Heart is made over unless God puts His Spiritual Hands on you, you cannot see the Kingdom of God. God knows our hearts and in Jeremiah 17: God say the Heart is desperately wicked who can know it. And Jesus is teaching the teacher Nicodemus that he has to be born again.Born Again in the Greek vernacular are the words Gennao and Anothen.

1. the first word Gennao means to be born. This is important because we can’t ge there unless we are born.

2. Anothen means to be born anew but from above the implications are that we are born from heaven because flesh and blood cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. When it’s His to call and yours to answer you’ll already be ready, you’ll just step on into eternal life. This is very important for the Christian Soul to know because when you know where your future is you can live in confidence and security and safety knowing that God has rescued me from a damned doomed dirty low bottom hell. Well let’s step it up another notch. The formal definition of Being Born Again is Regeneration. We know that Regeneration is a Change of Heart but what we don’t know is that Regeneration is a secret act of God in which He imparts new Spiritual Life to us and therefore Regeneration is totally a work of God.

Then in Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and fa new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. 28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Then there is 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; This scripture denotes the idea that my present experience is different from that of my past experience. I’m no longer the same old me.. If you’re acting the same way you use to act then the secret act by God coming in and change your old dirty heart into a new clean heart didn’t happen. David knew that he had messed up bad.. David saw that pretty pretty pretty girl Bathsheba and got the can’t help its but she’s married. And lust drove David crazy and David summoned Bathsheba to his Palace. David laid with her and she got pregnant. So David one of my favorite biblical characters devise a diabolical wicked plan. David plan had Urriah killed on the front line in battle. David thought he had gotten away with it.Oh but God Sits high and look down low God sees everything. God sent Nathan the Prophet. David knew Nathan was the real deal. Nathan said king you’re wrong as two left shoes. You took that girl, laid with her, she got pregnant, and then you killed her husband. Long story short David knew that his connection with God has suffered a devastating blow and he utters these word in Psalms 51:10. Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me. 11. Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy holy spirit from me. 12. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with thy free spirit. When your heart isn’t right man looks like everything the preacher say every pray the deacons pray and every song the choir sing tears away at your heart. Your past lifestyle will catch up with you but if you have reconciled yourself back to God everything is going to be alright. And people can try to throw your past in your face but when we have been Regenerated by God we walk in the newness of spiritual life. You can’t condemn me because of of what I use to be, because God has looked passed my faults and supplied everything I need to have a victorious life in Christ. How do you know this Pastor? Well look at Ephesians 2:2 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) Words are important because the saving Grace of Jesus Christ is where the Holy Ghost steps in and fixes us yeah No matter how far off, no matter how deep down in the dirt, no matter how devilish you’ve behaved Christ is willing to give us another chance at Salvation And that’s called Syzoopoieo: Sood-zo-op-oy eh-o is A complicated compound word that means 1. a union a coming together 2. Syzoopoieo means to re-vitalize, make alive again to give life. The Saving Grace of Jesus Christ is vitally important.... because people can put on programs using common grace and that’s good but it won’t save you. People may come and do repairs on the church and they may receive special grace to do the project at God’s church but that doesn’t save them from hell, only The Saving Grace of Jesus Christ gives us the golden ticket to Heaven. And for the record unbelievers watch how Christian live… We ought to be able to show them how to live a decent life in modern society. We ought to be able to pray for them and exhibit acts of mercy to undeserving unbelievers. We ought to be able teach scriptures to unbelievers and give them wisdom to live by. We ought to be able to show a Christian Standard to live by.

Then there is the Doctrine of Repentance

Repentance is a Change of Mind. Repentance is a heartfelt sorrow for sin, and a renouncing of sin ans a sincere commitment to forsake it and walk in obedience to Christ.. Repentance is an intellectual understanding that sin is wrong!!! Repentance is also an emotional response because it’s a sorrow for sin and a hatred for wrong doing..And then finally Repentance is a personal decision to turn from sin(Renouncing sin). 9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. 10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. I’d rather tell somebody the truth and save their soul than telling them what they want hear and they bust hell wide open. When a person who has been out in the world for a long time and they’ve had enough of the world beating them down, they will have godly repentance that will last and last and last. You just ask somebody that God has brought up and out of the muck and miry clay you ask somebody who knows that the Good Lord has brought them from a mighty mighty long ways. They’ll be quick to tell you when I gave my life to Christ, I was no longer on my way to hell with no weapon in my hand and no God on my side. Because my repentance lead to Salvation in Jesus Christ.

Then there is the Doctrine of Conversion Conversion is a Change of Lifestyle. Conversion is our willing response to the Gospel call, And this is where we sincerely repent of sins and place our trust in Jesus Christ for our Salvation. Listen good ,, just knowing the Doctrine of Bible, even agreeing with the Doctrine of the Bible and even if we approve of the Doctrine of the Bible and don’t apply the Doctrines of the Bible we have missed the mark 2x..

Look at the book of Acts 26:26  For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner. 27 King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest. 28 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian. 29 And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds. Listen to me the worst thing in the world is to be able to read the bible understand the bible hear a sermon study a word from the bible and Not change your mind and heart and lifestyle it will be sad to see you go to hell screaming and kicking and hollering and going to a place of eternal perpetual torment. And the thing that I’ve read about hell is that it’s hot and it never gets cool its a place of continual suffering and shame.

Then there is the Doctrine of Adoption. Adoption is a Change of Family. In ancient Roman culture, Adoption was a significant relationship. Once Adoption had taken place. not only was the adopted child granted the rights of the natural born child, but the relationship was also irrevocable. A person could disown a natural born child, but never the adopted child.. and it’s like that even today.

In Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise Then there is John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Ephesians 1:1 aPAUL, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Then there is Redemption. Redemption means a release on the payment of a ransom. And the question is How this redemption achieved? 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Redemption means putting us in right standing with God. We are now justified to receive Salvation. We are in agreement with God we are in line with God God has done something for us that we couldn’t do for ourselves and How do we know this? Because Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. This tells us that the ransom for our sins could not have been paid monetarily means (NO MONEY COULD BUY THIS REDEMPTION)ONLY THE BLOOD OF JESUS BEING THE PROPITIATION.

Then there is Justification. Justification is an instantaneous legal act of God in which God 1. thinks of our sins as forgiven 2. Christ’s Righteousness is applied to us 3. And God declares us to be righteous in His sight because He sees the Blood of Jesus Christ over our lives. Just like the Children of Israel when they were in Egypt and God has them put the Lamb’s Blood over the doorpost of their dwelling places and where ever the blood of the Lamb was the death angel rolled on by. Justification according to Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Then look at John 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. Listen saints of God Justification means we are saved from the penalty of sin Sanctification means we are in the process of being saved from the power of sin and then Glorification means we will one day be delivered from the presence of sin. That’s all the time I have on that subject. Thank y’all for tuning in, I’ll see y’all next week and Y’all come back now ya hear.
