Our person is always in conflict with our purpose: DENY YOUR PERSON. Our purpose comes with a cross. Then you have to DIE TO YOUR PERSON. For only then can you follow after your purpose.
Your purpose can never be fulfilled thru your person. Your purpose is so much bigger than your person, that your person can ever envision your purpose, therefore you can never se your purpose thru the eyes of your person. Your person is not going to die until it’s appointment ( Heb 9:27). After that it’s to late to work on your purpose. Therefore you have to die to your person in order to fulfill your purpose in order to get ready for that appointment.
Your person is worldly and is beckoned by the worlds voices and vices, and is interested in what the world has to offer to the living which is temporary.
Your purpose is WORDly and listens for the voice of GOD and is interested in what the WORD commands which leads to life, which is eternal.
