God Gave
God Gave
God gave his only begotten son. He sent his son as a sacrifice for our sins. Jesus is the only one that could take our sin punishment away. Jesus sacrifice on the cross of Calvary satisfies the wrath of God towards all sin. John the baptist proclaimed it the best when He said in John 1:29
The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
We can put our faith in the Jesus. That means that we beleive that Jesus sacrifice is enough to give us everlasting life. 1 John 2:2
and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.
We don’t have to nor can we earn our salvation. It is believing in the sufficiency of Jesus death on the cross.
God Saves
God Saves
Contrary to what some may think, God is not a moral police God that waits for us to mess up so he can judge us. He makes it very clear that He sent His Son to save people, not judge them.
God gives us a choice to choose or reject Jesus Christ as our Savior. Everyone who hears the gospel has the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Savior. If they repent of their sins and put their faith in the sufficiency of Jesus atoning death, burial and resurrection they will be saved. Paul said in Romans 10:9
that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
God Forgave
God Forgave
Those that place their faith in Jesus Christ will have their sins forgiven. They will not have to face the judgement of God. Those that reject Jesus Christ and don’t repent of their sins and believe in the death, burial, and resurrection are judged already because they have the wrath of God on them.
The ones that chooses darkness over the Light demonstrates that they love their sin more than Jesus. Their love of sin is their cause for judgement. The judgement is everlasting separation from God in the lake of fire.
Those that trust in Jesus as their savior have all their sins forgiven. Ephesians 1:7
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace
God Causes Us To Behave
God Causes Us To Behave
When we surrender to Christ, He changes our personhood.
Our desires change to those of righteousness. Our lives begin to manifest deeds that have been wrought in God. 2Corinthians 5:17-19
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,
namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
You can be saved today!
