Biblical prophets were not crazed lunatics, even if the world around them wanted to dismiss them as such. Their insight, borne of God's inspiration, often brought sadness with His eternal perspective. We can learn much from Daniel 12 that can help us see our future clearly and live responsibly. Ultimately this brings the joy our world vainly seeks and a deeper walk with God who gives it.
