I. Following Christ or following the flesh/world?

A. Desires of the body

B. Desires of the mind.

II. We are alive together with Christ.

v. 4-5

Proverbs 27:17 NKJV

As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.

A. We are to be one in Christ.

B. We are to be one together.

III. We have been saved for a purpose.

v.6-7

A. That He might shows us His grace.

B. That He might shows us His kindness.

IV. We are made to do good works.

v. 8-10

Colossians 1:10 NKJV

that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

A. Bear fruit

B. Increase in the knowledge of God
