12 And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” 13 Then He put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately the leprosy left him. 14 And He charged him to tell no one, “But go and show yourself to the priest, and make an offering for your cleansing, as a testimony to them, just as Moses commanded.” 15 However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities. 16 So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.

Yet- Jesus says I am willing
Jesus was confronted by a desperate Man

-Full of leprosy
-Physically spiritually considered unclean
-He was considered dead to society (Black garment)
-He had to remain at least 6ft away
-He forgot all these restrictions and ran to Jesus
2. Jesus cleansed the untouchable (Mark 1:41).
Jesus wills for untouchable to be cleansed and fully restored. Cleansed spiritually, physically, and socially. Hebrews 7:25
25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
3. Jesus charged the newly cleansed man
A) DO not boast
B) Worship God! 1 Peter 2:2-3
2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, 3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
4) Jesus made an impact!
The news spreadly quickly. Jesus had the message of salvation and the power to heal infirmities-but not without prayer! We have this access to power through Him!
How does this relate to us today?
“Has Christ touched your life?
So many people need to be touched.
“If you are His, and we are fishing at His command- I am confident that you can lead (touch) someone for the Lord. We need to reach out our hand and touch some soul whom only you can touch for Him today!- J. Vernon McGee.
