Let The Will Of The Lord Be Done
Introduction
Sheree and I are learning like everyone else.
There is one thing about God; “We can’t put Him in a box.”
Whatever happens never catches Him off guard.
He is control of everything including our lives and everything happens according to His will.
Jesus Obeys God’s Will
Matthew 26:42 is written about a time when Jesus was about to be made a sacrifice for our sins.
His human side realized how much pain and suffering He would have to endure, and He prayed to His Father that the cup would pass from Him.
But Jesus said; “Nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.
Paul And The Apostles Obey The Lord’s Will
Acts 21:14 is written about the time a man prophesied about some Jews plotting to kill Paul if he went to Jerusalem.
The Apostles tried to persuade him to not go but after they seen they couldn’t, they said; “Let the will of the Lord be done.
We Must Accept The Lord’s Will
We have plans and we have desires for the Lord to do something for us.
In our case it was healing Sheree.
We’ve been praying for Him to heal her once and for all.
But I believe we’ve come to realization that it will only happen if it’s His will.
Conclusion
First of all, God isn’t cruel.
He’s loving.
When our prayers seem to go unanswered, it’s because it isn’t His will at that moment.
God’s timing is perfect, so if it’s the Lord’s will, Sheree will be healed once and for all.
And if there is a delay, it’s for a good reason.
We just have to trust God!
