I am not ashamed

Romans 1:16 -17For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.””
Have you ever had a story that was so amazing that you couldn’t help but want to share it with everyone you met? Maybe it was a professional sports star that you got your picture taken with, Maybe it was a monster fish that you caught on your family vacation to Minnesota, Maybe it was how you scored the winning goal at the state championship.
Whatever it is, we all have stories that are so great that we can’t help but want to share them with our friends.
The Bible tells us that the greatest story of all times is the gospel that changed your life forever. The gospel is the good news that God sent his perfect son Jesus to redeem mankind from their debt of sin. Jesus through his sacrificial death and his victorious resurrection paid our debt of sin in full, and anyone who trust in him for salvation is no longer condemned to die eternally but is now alive in Christ forever.”
When it comes to the stories of our lives - a winning goal or a giant fish don’t even come close to the story that God poured out his love for you and chose to save you from your sin.
Don’t be ashamed of The story that changed you life forever.Share it, proclaim, because it has the power to change the lives of everyone who hearts it.
What story do get excited to share from your life?
What one person should you share your gospel story with today?
Lord, give me the boldness to share your gospel with the world around me, and help me to not be ashamed of you, but to be excited to share your gift of grace through my words, my actions and my attitude. Amen
