The Plot Against Jeremiah (Jer. 11:18-25)

Application
If the Lord made known to us all the devil’s lots against us, how shocked and frightened we would be.
When the Lord does reveal to us one of the devil’s plots against us, He does so so that we call on Him.
Proclaiming the Word of God in word and deed is sure to invite a satanic plot against us. Even so, we can’t do anything other than proclaim the Word of God.
Let us commit ourselves to the Lord and trust Him who judges righteously to take vengeance at the right time.

The Prayer of Jeremiah & God’s Answer (Jer. 12:1-17)

Application
When tempted to complain, let’s instead ask God for sustaining grace to get through the present trial.
When tempted to complain, let’s ask God for increasing grace in case things get tougher in the future.
When tempted to complain, let’s remember that the Lord redeems all those who commit themselves to Him.
When tempted to complain, let’s remember what we were told in the beginning. (Jer. 1:18-19; John 15:18; John 16:33; 1 John 3:13).
