The Flesh Wants To Solve Your Problems.
The Flesh Wants To Solve Your Problems.
When I was in school, one of the main subjects I hated was math. I did not like all the formulas, equations, hypotheticals, or anything. Just give me the answer! I didn’t understand why we needed to know. All that mattered was if the answer was correct. Still to this day, I don’t like math, but I have respect for it! I know why it is important, and just because you have the right answer doesn’t mean you went about getting it the right way. Its call the Order of Operation..Warning: If you Calculate them in the wrong order, and you can get a wrong answer ! This students! is how we approach our Christian life, and having our needs be provided for. Most of us don’t care how we get what we want, as long as we get what we want. And because God is teaching us what it takes to get something the right way, we are not interested in the lesson, only to receive the grade that we complain about. There are problems in our lives that need to be solved but we are and we are trying to solve them through the very thing that will give us a bad grade, every time! Our flesh! If you read my topic, the flesh wants to solve your problems, before the teacher (aka Holy Spirit) can walk us through how to ace every test that is put before us. We as spiritual leaders, pastors, and etc, some times drop the ball on teach our students how to solve their own problems, so that they are not cheating off their friends, who are getting bad grades, or off the smart guy or gal that know it, but you can’t depend of forever. Sooner or later you will be on your own, needing the answer and you passing or failing, depends on how much you pay attention to this lesson. The flesh wants to give you the wrong answer on purpose, because it gets gratification with keeping you ignorant and you not knowing how to get the right answers to your problems. Math rule number one, you are not your flesh, you have been bought with a price. 1 Corinthians 6:20 “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
Since we are not under the law, we are not subject to it.
Ga 5:17–18. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Our identity comes from who we are in Christ not our flesh. When you identfify with the flesh you come into agreement with it, thus the approval for it to act or respond, or eat up any emotion that you are filled with.
