I am in conversations with preachers, pastors, bishops, theologians, all types of spiritual people and the question is why is the church still living this way

Isaiah 1:21-27 How the faithful city has become a harlot!It was full of justice;Righteousness lodged in it,But now murderers.

Isaiah 1:21–27 NLT

See how Jerusalem, once so faithful, has become a prostitute. Once the home of justice and righteousness, she is now filled with murderers. Once like pure silver, you have become like worthless slag. Once so pure, you are now like watered-down wine. Your leaders are rebels, the companions of thieves. All of them love bribes and demand payoffs, but they refuse to defend the cause of orphans or fight for the rights of widows. Therefore, the Lord, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the Mighty One of Israel, says, “I will take revenge on my enemies and pay back my foes! I will raise my fist against you. I will melt you down and skim off your slag. I will remove all your impurities. Then I will give you good judges again and wise counselors like you used to have. Then Jerusalem will again be called the Home of Justice and the Faithful City.” Zion will be restored by justice; those who repent will be revived by righteousness.

In verse 1-20 God focuses on how Israel forgot who God is. How they did much to betray God by not living according to his will.

I use the word betray because it describes disloyalty, disobey, give up, let down. This is

Isaiah 1:11-13

11 “To what purpose isthe multitude of your sacrifices to Me?”Says the LORD.“I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed cattle.

I do not delight in the blood of bulls,

Or of lambs or goats.

12 “When you come to appear before Me,

Who has required this from your hand,

To trample My courts?

13 Bring no more futile sacrifices;

Incense is an abomination to Me.

The New Moons, the Sabbaths, and the calling of assemblies—I cannot endure iniquity and the sacred meeting.

God compared them to Sodom and Gomora but he didn’t let them see Sodom and Gamora’s demise.

Gen. 19:4

Now before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both old and young, all the people from every quarter, surrounded the house. 5 And they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.”

Lot greeted to Angels as they entered Sodom and invited them to his home. As the people of Sodom saw these men they wanted to know them canaly.

The people of Sodom shows their brutality and betrayal of God to were God destroyed. This scripture shows evil laying in the city. God sent the Angels to Sodom to destroy it this was before the incident, it was the cultureof the people that caused God to destroy it

Culture

Cultures are taught to people you don’t just develop them

Cultures are beliefs of people

Cultures are values people take on

I am going to get political for a second. We have two popular cultures in this country.
