Personal Preparation & Prelude

Call to Worship

Isaiah 65:17–18 ESV
“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth, and the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem to be a joy, and her people to be a gladness.

Invocation

Gracious Father, you have promised your people that you will dwell among us and walk with us. It is clear from your word that your intimate presence in and among your people is your gift that is to be treasured above all else. And when we think of the means by which this is possible, that God the Son, our Savior and Messiah gave Himself for the atonement of our sins, and now, through faith the Holy Spirit comes to dwell among and in your people today, we are humbled but filed with great joy. We ask you today Father to be glorified among your people. We invite you, Father of mercies to preside over this service and ask that you would guide us in our worship. We pray this together in the name of our precious Savior, Jesus Christ, amen.

Declaration of Faith

Article 6 – Creation
Q. What are God’s works of providence?
A. The almighty and ever-present power of God by which God upholds, as with His hand, heaven and earth and all creatures, and so rules them that leaf and blade, rain and drought, fruitful and lean years, food and drink, health and sickness, prosperity and poverty – all things, in fact, come to us not by chance but by His fatherly hand. (Jer. 5:24; Acts 17:24-28; Acts 14:15-17; John 9:3; Ps. 145:17; Is. 28:29; Ps. 104:24; Heb. 1:3; Ps. 103:19; Prov. 16:33; Mt. 10:29, 30, 31).

Prayer of Thanksgiving

We want to not loose sight of the fact that we are dependent upon the provision of God for what we need. This church, this ministry exists through the gracious provision of God.
You can give to the church online through our website or if you brought an offering today, you can drop it off in one of the baskets located at the entrance of the sanctuary.
Father you have removed all obstructions between your people and you through the redemptive work of Christ. You are on high, you are lifted up, your name is holy, you dwell in the holy place yet you also dwell among your people. We thank you for this most gracious provision. We ask that you would be honored through that which we give, through what we do in the name of Jesus and through any act of sacrifice for your name’s sake. In Jesus name, we pray this together. Amen.

Doxology

If you are able, please stand as we praise God for His provision by singing the doxology together. (#733 in the hymnal)
