What do you believe

Do you think Christians know what they believe? Why or why not?
If we want to connect with someone else we need to first know what we believe.
Shockingly Most Christians don’t know exactly what they believe in 87% of Christians believe God knows everything that happens in the world 78% believe God can change or direct things in the world.
This makes our mission of being biblically sound in the way we share the gospel with the world that much more important.
if we look at scripture we clearly see God’s hand on everything in the world and even in your own life you see that, but if one of these Christians who believe different share a different view then it can be incredibly confusing to a non-believer or a person from a different culture
Imagine someone who never went to architect school or even picked up a tool trying to build your new house
Like this story we want to know that the person we are talking to knows what they are talking about
You will never have all the answers. The important thing is to have a growth mindset always and the humbleness to admit when you don’t know something
The gospel is the Good News - Jesus

Why

Why would we want to observe what others believe?
Helps us to make a gospel connection to that point
If you respect them then they will respect you
The bible tells us those who want to be first must make themselves last
You will never outsmart your way to a salvation. You just remain humble and leave the rest up to Christ
People see your passion
Share two examples, one where I am tolerant of another persons view, one where I’m not (Dr. Pepper Vs. Coke)
Which method is likely to have more success? Why or why not?
making their view feel valued and then explaining why you believe what you believe is clutch
makes the convo not hostile
