Mercy From God to Us; Us to our Neighbor!

We believe Gods desire is for His children to live in a state of heart felt obedience. Loving God with all of our heart, mind, soul and strength. God wants us to know HIS steadfast love towards us. In other words, Gods Great Mercy, is this wonderful gift given to GODS COVENANT PEOPLE. Many of us just sit and wonder in awe of this attribute of our Great God!! This Mercy even being possible just blows our mind! As we sit and contemplate all these facts about Gods Mercy, we see and hear Holy Spirit show the merging of Gods Great Mercy and Gods Great Love. How rich we are in God, to posses these treasures from our (PLEASE speak this name with great reverence) God Yahweh. Yahweh Jireh, our God who sees and provides our needs. a satisfying provision and sense of well being, God looking out for us and our situation. The People of Gods Covenant, are so blessed to have the provisions of Gods Covenant. When we have obediently walked through the open door of MESSIAH JESUS and accept Gods conditions of covenant, we start a new birth in the Spirit meaning our spirits are born again. Mercy takes a place in our souls and our well being. Yes, Yahweh Jireh at work in us and through us and all around us. What joy we have! Holy Spirit bearing witness with our spirits, we are in right standing with God, living in Peace with our God and fellow man.
As we stop and contemplate lets look at what Mercy is defined as in the Baker Encyclopedia of the Bible; “at the heart of the concept of mercy is the love of God, which is freely manifested in His gracious saving acts on behalf of those whom HE has pledged in covenant relationship”. Further more we do have these OT scriptures to help us understand this wonderful Mercy of God.
Exodus 33:19 AMP
And God said, I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim My name, THE LORD, before you; for I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy and loving-kindness on whom I will show mercy and loving-kindness.
Again God said in Isaiah54:10
Isaiah 54:10 AMP
For though the mountains should depart and the hills be shaken or removed, yet My love and kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace and completeness be removed, says the Lord, Who has compassion on you.
Micah 6:8 is pure treasure.
Micah 6:8 AMP
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, and to love kindness and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humbly with your God?
These are truths rendered for us to apply to our souls heart. We then ask the Holy Spirit to bring Mercy to life inside of us and let us walk in that truth circumspectly. Mercy our gift from God!! May God put in our heart the burden to share this Gift of Mercy with our fellow church brethren. May we speak of Gods mercy to all mankind. Perhaps seeds of salvation may be planted into seeking hungry hearts. as we treasure our relationship with God though a faith that is established in HIS great Love and Mercy. Jesus is the door to Gods mercy. Oh what a treasures we posses. Mercy, with all the fruit of the Spirit, and all the benefits of being born again in Jesus and filled with the Holy Spirit! To be loved so much by GOD is an honor to all who receive this this gift of Mercy. Think of what it is, the infinite GOD YAHWEH, THE HIGHEST and FINAL AUTHORITY IN all of creation has given to us Mercy and salvation from his final judgement against all the rebellion and iniquity of mankind on this Earth. We are acquitted through Jesus sacrifice and Blood. Justice satisfied, we humbly and thankfully live in His Mercy and Salvation by Faith that our GOD is a just and righteous Judge and King. We are so blessed our GOD is so rich in MERCY! Like the Apostle Paul says in The epistle to the Ephesians:
Ephesians 2:4–6 (AMP)
But God—so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us, Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation). And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
Matthew 5:7 (AMP)
Blessed (happy, to be envied, and spiritually prosperous—with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy!
Luke 6:35–36 (AMP)
But love your enemies and be kind and do good [doing favors so that someone derives benefit from them] and lend, expecting and hoping for nothing in return but considering nothing as lost and despairing of no one; and then your recompense (your reward) will be great (rich, strong, intense, and abundant), and you will be sons of the Most High, for He is kind and charitable and good to the ungrateful and the selfish and wicked. So be merciful (sympathetic, tender, responsive, and compassionate) even as your Father is [all these].
Gods Mercy is so deep and rich for His children to treasure. We have repented and confessed Jesus as their Lord and Master experiencing the new born again life. We are raised to spiritual life as a born again believer because we believe in Christ Jesus’ birth, sinless life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension to Heaven. We confess Jesus is our Lord with our mouth ( as savior) and lifestyle (as Lord). We proclaim this confession boldly and joyfully. We walk in this great Mercy from YAHWEH ( GOD the Father). Again, one who contemplates this in its entirety finds ourselves in complete awe and wonder of such a gift from GOD. We are so extremely rich in Gods Mercy. Do these gifts from God hold the value in our hearts as they do in Gods. If so, we out of Gods Agape Love would want to share it with our friends and neighbors. Holy Spirit, please give us the spiritual tools, spiritual fruit and opportunities to share this great treasure you have given so richly to us. May we humbly and meekly share this wealth with those you bring into our life sphere. Tune us to be aware of people around us and to hear Holy Spirits voice and promptings as we endeavor to share the good news of your love, salvation and mercy. Sharing is our aim. So in doing that, Jesus gave us a parable of how and what that looks like in the Gospel of Luke.
Luke 10:25–37 (AMP)
And then a certain lawyer arose to try (test, tempt) Him, saying, Teacher, what am I to do to inherit everlasting life [that is, to partake of eternal salvation in the Messiah’s kingdom]? Jesus said to him, What is written in the Law? How do you read it? And he replied, You must love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself. And Jesus said to him, You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live [enjoy active, blessed, endless life in the kingdom of God]. And he, determined to acquit himself of reproach, said to Jesus, And who is my neighbor? Jesus, taking him up, replied, A certain man was going from Jerusalem down to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him of his clothes and belongings and beat him and went their way, [unconcernedly] leaving him half dead, as it happened. Now by coincidence a certain priest was going down along that road, and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. A Levite likewise came down to the place and saw him, and passed by on the other side [of the road]. But a certain Samaritan, as he traveled along, came down to where he was; and when he saw him, he was moved with pity and sympathy [for him], And went to him and dressed his wounds, pouring on [them] oil and wine. Then he set him on his own beast and brought him to an inn and took care of him. And the next day he took out two denarii [two day’s wages] and gave [them] to the innkeeper, saying, Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, I [myself] will repay you when I return. Which of these three do you think proved himself a neighbor to him who fell among the robbers? He answered, The one who showed pity and mercy to him. And Jesus said to him, Go and do likewise.

Holy Spirit, please bring these truths to manifest in our life. Help us practice pure honest humility as we live our life in Christ Jesus. Create in us a clean heart. Renew a right spirit in us. This we ask that we would honor our GOD in that we would share this exceedingly rich treasure with our neighbors, those people you surround us with. Thank you Almighty God!
