None of them fully understood that night, but all they would come to appreciate it so well.
Something they would do on a regular basis of taking bread and breaking it.
And when Jesus broke the bread, he said this is my body.

Remember me?
And he asked a blessing.
So, before we we partake of the bread, let me ask a blessing.
Heavenly Father, we we remember

For our sin.
And God, we thank you for that.
We thank you for that gracious.
Gift that you would bear upon your body.
The consequences of our sin was alarmed as we come this morning to the bread.
We remember.
And we are grateful and we ask your blessing on it in Jesus name, amen.
Shall we partake together?
In another beautiful picture.
Jesus would take the cup.
he said to him then he says this car is the Covenant in my blood which is given for you.
As often as you drink it, do it in remembrance of me.
And as he did that, that night, he has them partake of it.
You and I as we remember his sacrifice, the blood shed on the cross.
We remember what it cost, we enter into that New Covenant.
You know what Jesus said?
I won't drink of this again until I return.

Got we are reminded this morning of the cost.
Of arson.
