Resurrection Morning:
Mood - What was the mood of the disciples now 3 days after the crucifixion?

What were they going to do?
Women: Practical - They were annointing the body of Jesus - they were finishing the rush Job that had happened the day of his death.
John 19:38-41 “After these things Joseph of Arimathea, who was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, asked Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus, and Pilate gave him permission.
So he came and took away his body.
Nicodemus also, who earlier had come to Jesus by night, came bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds in weight.

They were finishing the proper preparation for Jesus (their saviors body) that would have been not only customary but out of respect.
