Intro
Hey Y’all, yall good? Who is ready for DNow? I’m Stoked about it. It is going to be a great weekend.
Before we begin tonight, I need to just say something, I’m not going to go into why, but if you are going through something, know two things: one, there is nothing in this world worth taking you life for. If you think this world is better off with out you, you are wrong. If you need friendship, if you need community, please look here for it.
So let’s have a little debate?
I’m gonna read off a list of names and you tell me if they belong in the GOAT conversation.
Wilt Chamberlain?
Larry? Magic?
Kobe?
Lebron? Giannas? am I missing anyone?
Oh yeah Michael Jordan.
So who is the greatest?
For me as a kid who grew up in the 90’s it’s michael, 6 trips to the Finals, 6 Rings, like you don’t beat that.
Lebron, dude has wild, i think he appeared in every finals fro like 10 years or something like that. 4 rings? 3 rings? not sure?
But like y’all porb barely know anything about Bird and Magic, they were the peak in the 80’s.
Then Michael, no one was better than Michael. Through out History of Basketball, each era has there greatest, but to me there is a clear greatest, Maybe Kobe is the one who chases Jordan, But idk about Lebron, don’t get me wrong, hes wild, but He’s not MJ.
Anyways, what we are talking about tonight is, still this theme of Jesus is greater, but we are getting to a part in Hebrews where Jesus is being shown to be better that all of the early Hebrew prophets and fathers.
Context
Starting with Moses, Christ is shown to be greater.
