Do you ever think about finishing well? Have you thought of others that maybe didn’t finish well (most of the time famous people may pop in our mind)

Maybe next question should be what makes it finishing well?

I was flipping through some channels and “Last Hours Autopsy” caught my attention “Dean Martin”

Why do you have to talk about old people ........okay Anne Heche? Philip Seymour Hoffman? Prince? How would you put FINISHING WELL into perspective?

Did you know we are or can be blessed by revelation everyday? Think about this for a minute

The world and its pressures and enticements try to block us from revelation

We have mainly been covering in our series in Revelation -

As Christ followers having the miracle gift of the Holy Spirit (amazing gift eternal life first), how would Holy Spirit work in us? 1) He helped save us 2) He would have us bear fruit and reveal His nature love/joy/peace/patience/kindness/goodness/faithfulness/gentleness/self control 3) gifts we use in the church

4 John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne,

5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood

The seven Spirits who are before His throne - maybe of the seven churches of Revelation or the seven Spirits of Isaiah 11:2 which are Spirit of the Lord, spirit of wisdom, spirit of understanding,spirit of counsel, spirit of strength, spirit of knowledge, spirit of fear of the Lord (CROSS REFERENCES SHOW BOTH OF THESE USED ESPECIALLY IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION)

These churches were closest by for John but most importantly told by the Lord in the Spirit to write to these 7

60ish- 70AD but we able to step into that time today and over 2000 years later bring these 7 churches into our time

How can that be? Why would those churches then mean something to us now

Almost 4000 years ago Israel is in 400 years of slavery and bondage in Egypt until what? Passover?

What is Passover? first of the 7 feast of Israel

Passover - death angel passes over (blood of the Lamb)

Unleavened Bread - remove sin / repentance

First Fruits - Resurrection of Christ Jesus

Pentecost -gift of Holy Spirit

CHURCH AGE / 7 Yrs NEEDED IN DANIEL TO COMPLETE 490yrs

Trumpets - church “bride” wed to Christ (called home / heaven)

Day of Atonement - final cleansing of all sin

Tabernacles - new heaven and earth forever

Do these Feast also relate to the church today? We have been talking about the 70 weeks of Daniel in chapter 9 of Daniel

We are fixing to go to the 7 churches in chapter 3-4 of Revelation

And Jesus’ message to the churches will be summed up as “I want you to finish well”

the next part at the throne event will be who will open book of 7 seals

This is what was sealed up at Daniels chapter 9 time of the 70 weeks the 7 tears we are waiting on
