This is the first sermon in a series going through the book of James. James is writing from Jerusalem to the believers who have been scattered due to persecution, to the whole church. He begins his letter orienting everyone in the church with the basics of what it means to live from day-to-day, no matter when or where, as a Christian. It is the "Christian Life in One Lesson".
