Jeremiah 29:7 NKJV
7 And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you will have peace.

1) The word means welfare as well.

Matthew 10:16 NKJV
16 “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
Jesus sends us out as sheep in the midst of wolves.
this tells us that the world is cut throat.
we are to be in the world but not of the world.
Philippians 3:20 NKJV
20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
the way we are to move in this world is according to God’s law.
we are to seek this welfare within the exist.
in this way. if I am a partner, then my concern should be concerned with the welfare of all my partners.
as a citizen of the kingdom I want the welfare of the entire city on the way that Joseph increased Potiphar holdings.

2) it means safety.
