(Isaiah 6:8-9)
Introduction: 1. Story: My car asked me if I wanted to send a text.
2. In Isaiah 6 God asked Isaiah to take a message to the house of Israel.
3. Does the Lord ask us to send a message? (Mt. 28:18-20)
Body: I. “Who shall I send, and who shall go for us?”.
Body: I. “Who shall I send, and who shall go for us?”.
A. One who would serve God must know his will. (2 Tim. 2:15)
B. Illustration: Getting an engineering job without any knowledge of engineering
C. The disciples had been taught by Jesus and knew what was expected of them. (Mt. 28:20)
II. “Here I am! Send me.”

A. One who would serve God must be a willing servant. (Jam. 2:14-18)
B. Illustration: To keep your job you must go to your job.
C. The disciples had to go on top of a mountain to receive this commission. (Mt. 28:16)

Conclusion: 1. Are you going to send the text?
2. We have a commission from the Lord that we need to share with others.
3. In order to have a part in the great commission we must first be his servants.
