Welcome

Good afternoon.
I am Lt. Adam Hines and on behalf of my wife, Lt. Amanda, and the entire Lakewood Temple Corps, we extend a warm welcome to you all as we gather to celebrate the life of John Johnson.
A few announcements before we pray and being our ceremony:
Following the service, you are invited to the Community Center for a time of fellowship with desserts and refreshments. Thank you to the Women’s Ministry for making that possible.
A thank you to Dale Grambush for making our service sound and giving us a chance to view it online, now and in the future through our Facebook page.
A thank you to those who help set up the chapel and the Community Center for today’s events.

With thankful hearts we remember John and his contributions to the lives of the people gathered here today. We ask for your gentle hand of peace to be upon each person who is seated here today, that you bring comfort to those who mourn. Thank you God for the hope of Jesus, the way, the truth, and the life. Be near us now, in your name, Amen.
Let us pray.
