On September 11th 2019 , Madame Tussauds New York unveiled the Flag at Ground Zero figures in honor of 9/11. The figures are based on the iconic photograph of the three firefighters raising the American flag out of the rubble of the World Trade Center on September 11th 2001, exactly 18 years ago.
This special exhibit features the three firefighters, George Johnson, Dan McWilliams and Billy Eisengrein and serve as tribute to not only the courage and bravery of the first responders depicted but also the strength and courage of New Yorkers and Americans nationwide.

“Growing a Spirit of Generosity”
“Growing a Spirit of Generosity”
Generous, joyful giving is a powerful practice which unleashes many blessings from God and offers us the peace of mind that we are obeying Him.
It also provides us the opportunity and privilege of watching God work through us to build His Kingdom.
Let’s see what the Bible has to say about giving.
POINT 1: Proverbs 3:5-10: We MUST Trust, Seek, Fear the Lord, and Honor God with our wealth.
POINT 2: 2 Corinthians 8:1-4: They gave themselves to God first and they kept giving even in challenging times they begged Paul to let them give. The results was they had abundant joy.
POINT 3: 1 Corinthians 13:3: Love should be our primary motive for giving.

WALKING THROUGH THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS
From Isaiah we discovered three things about ourselves and four things about God:
Isaiah 43:10 (NLT)
10 “But you are my witnesses, O Israel!” says the Lord.
“You are my servant.
You have been chosen to know me, believe in me,
and understand that I alone am God.
There is no other God—
there never has been, and there never will be.
We are witnesses
We are servants
We have been chosen
God alone is God
There is no other God
There never has been any other God, and
There never will be another God.
From Nahum we discovered three more things about God:
God is good,
a hiding place in tough times.
He recognizes and welcomes
anyone looking for help,
God is Good.
God is a strong protector when trouble comes.
God is close to us as we trust in Him.
Then we found Seven Redemptive Names of Yahweh or Jehovah God:
7 Redemptive Names of God
7 Redemptive Names of God
In our LACK
Jehovah-Jireh You are my Provider
When we FEEL ALONE
Jehovah-Shammah You are Present with me.
In ANXIETY
Jehovah-Shalom You are my Peace.
In our WEAKNESS
Jehovah-Nissi You are my Victory.
In need of GUIDANCE
Jehovah-Roi You are my Shepherd.
In our WAYWARDNESS
Jehovah- Tsidkenu You are my Righteousness.
In our SICKNESS
Jehovah-Rapha You are my Healer.
Key Points Today
Key Points Today
God is our Sustainer
As we look at some of the key Characteristics of God
As we look at some of the key Characteristics of God
Christianity teaches that God created the world and everything in it. We find this in the first chapter of the Old Testament, Genesis states:
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.*
As well as creating the world and everything in it, God continues to be involved in our world toda.
This is what is meant by God as sustainer.
This belief is that everything in the world is still completely dependent on God for its existence.
The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.
He existed before anything else,
and he holds all creation together.
God is our SUSTAINER
WHEN CAN DISCOVER GOD AS OUR SUSTAINER BY THESE THREE CHARACTERISTIC:
Omnipotence
Omnipotence
The term omnipotence refers to the idea that God is all-powerful.
There are many stories in the Bible which reveal the power of God.
One example of God's omnipotence is found in Genesis as God creates the world.
It states how God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh, and
how God made a man from the dust in the ground and a woman from man’s rib.
Whether we see this story to be literal or figuratively—Christians still accept that creation shows God's possessing ALL-Power to sustain us.
Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”
Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”
For with God nothing will be impossible.”
Omniscience
Omniscience
The term omniscience refers to the belief that God is all-knowing. Our all-knowing God is mentioned in the Bible in:
Even if we feel guilty, God is greater than our feelings, and he knows everything.
I believe that this all-knowing power goes beyond what we can imagine as humans.
The belief is that God knows if someone loses a single hair, and knows people's thoughts before they speak them. We see this in Luke and in Psalm.
And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.
Psalm 94:11a (NLT)
The Lord knows people’s thoughts…
Omnipresence
Omnipresence
The term omnipresence refers God’s character that God is everywhere.
The Word teaches that God is present everywhere in the world, at all times.
The idea of an all-present God is mentioned in the Bible:
13 The Lord looks down from heaven
and sees the whole human race.
14 From his throne he observes
all who live on the earth.
The Lord is watching everywhere,
keeping his eye on both the evil and the good.
“For God watches how people live;
he sees everything they do.
normally this is where we stop talking about our “Omni” God.
Omnibenevolence
Omnibenevolence
The term omnibenevolence refers to the belief that God is an all-loving being.
God’s love is unconditional and infinite — far, far beyond what even the best of people are capable of. God commands those who follow Him to love one another. Among sincere believers whose hearts God has changed, you can see an imperfect picture of His love.j
Reason to believe in this all-loving God can be found in many different parts of the Bible:
But you, O Lord,
are a God of compassion and mercy,
slow to get angry
and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave* his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
Ephesians 3:18–19 (NLT)
18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.
19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
5 Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds.
6 Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains,
your justice like the ocean depths.
You care for people and animals alike, O Lord.
7 How precious is your unfailing love, O God!
All humanity finds shelter
in the shadow of your wings.
Application
Application
If you are struggling to believe that God loves you as you are.
If you’ve spent your whole life running from God or done things you regret— know this…
He still loves you and wants to have a relationship with you.
Coming to know our Great God is a journey of a lifetime.
Each day take time to think about these verses. Praying
Reading each scripture and journaling breeds a great return in knowing your great God.
Make it personal.
