we been in Rom 12.. YESTERDAY...
spirtitual gifts:
prophecy, teaching, ministry, exhortation, mercy
Romans 12:1–8 NKJV
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. 3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. 4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; 7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; 8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
1 Corinthians 12:27–13:3 NKJV
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. 28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? 30 Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? 31 But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way. 1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
Colossians 3:14 NKJV
14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
Love is the greatest thing you can do..
check out what Jesus said:
Matthew 22:34–40 NKJV
34 But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. 35 Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” 37 Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
Love is....
1 Corinthians 13:4–13 NLT
4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. 8 Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! 9 Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! 10 But when the time of perfection comes, these partial things will become useless. 11 When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. 12 Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely. 13 Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.
God is love (1 John 4:16
1 John 4:16 NKJV
16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
2. Love comes from God 1 John 4:7
weird how the world wants love but not God.
Who wants to have perfect a love life?
Movies, music, Tv, some video games, your friends, your fellow students, and apps entertain us with love.
This is all so normal to us that we don't notice that is happens…. It is good to desire love, but who we desire love from determines if we will have a perfect love life or not.
And everyone wants to have that perfect love life we hear and see.
What if I promise you that if you understand what I say you can have a perfect love life

CONTENT
I remember being in School.
I had many crushes I had my first girlfriend I had lots of friends I had great parents I had lots of fun
I also had some real fears and insecurities that at the time I didn't realize I have.
I was insecure about the way I looked.
Then all of a sudden I fell in love. I had the perfect love life!
And I noticed that I wasn't insecure or afraid of these things.
it didn't matter what people thought of me. I had no fear. And no I didn't turn super human.
but the love I found was super human.
God’s love
I found God’s love.
I didn't just know it, I felt it, I experienced it.
God’s love is like a friendship…
you don't make friends by knowing their is friendly people.
you make friends by seeking friendship. God’s love is like knowledge.
you don't get smart by knowing there is books out there.
you get smart by seeking knowledge in books.
I didn't just know God’s love was out there… I finally experienced it.
and when I did…. God’ love removed my fears…
1 John 4:18
1 John 4:18 NKJV
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
Do you have fears, insecurities, do you do things because the culture leads you too?
Jesus’ love is freedom from these things.
And instead of having fears/insecurities…
I found that God’s love:
gives strength (Is 41:10)
I used to hate and fear speaking in front of people.
God has given me strength to do what I do for a living and speak in front of people heals (Ps 147:3)
I used to feel hurt. I know what depression is like. I know what it is like to be betrayed by friends.
God has healed me
The Bible says that if God cares for the flowers and the bird He will care for you (Mt. 6:28–31) is for anyone (Jhn 3:16)
Any person can experience this love. But you have to pursue, like a friendship or like anything else.
God does not force His love on you.
He wants you to want it.
And He wants you to love Him. never ends (Rom 8:35-39)
Romans 8:35–39 NKJV
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
God love for you never ends and nothing can separate you from God’s love
But most people never experience it….
I hope this wont be you.
