1 Peter 3:10-12

Instructions for “the one who desires life, to love and see good days:”
Keep your tongue from evil and deceit (imperative)
Keep: to cause something to stop or keep something from happening, stop, cause to stop, quiet, relieve
Turn away from evil (imperative)
Turn: stay away from, to keep away from, steer clear of, to stop doing something, cease
Do good(imperative)
Do: to produce something material, make, manufacture, produce; to undertake or do something that brings about an event, state, or condition, do, cause, bring about, accomplish, prepare, etc; to carry out an obligation of a moral or social nature, do, keep, carry out, practice, commit; to be active in some way, work, be active
Seek peace (imperative)
Seek: try to find something, seek, look for; to seek information, investigate, examine, consider, deliberate; to devote serious effort to realize one’s desire or objective, strive for, aim (at), try to obtain, desire, wish (for); ask for, request, demand
Pursue peace (imperative)
Pursue: to move rapidly and decisively toward an objective, hasten, run, press on; to harass someone, esp. because of beliefs, persecute; to cause to run or set in motion, drive away, drive out; to follow in haste in order to find something, run after, pursue;
