I will give to each of you according to your works

Cuando estudiamos la Iglesia de Tiatira se me quedo una parte que le dijo a la iglesia. “I will give to each of you according to your works” Apocalipsis 2:23b.
Ephesians 5:8–9 (ESV)
for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light
for the fruit of light is found in all that is good(The quality of moral excellence) and right(that it meets the requirement of a standard) and true(dependable),
Worthy of repentance is works that happen and you can see that they happened because you surrendered.
Estas son las obras que Dios busca en nosotros.
Relationships are falling apart because many of us aren’t revealing true repentance. Not taking accountability for our actions.
God wants your whole life to be a life giving glory to God.
True repentance results in a turning from sin and an inner renewal which can only be brought about by God, who draws people to himself and who, through Jesus Christ, gives forgiveness and new life.what about you honors God?
What results of your life bring honor to God? Before we answered this let’s be sure that we are giving HIM all glory for truly what we know, brings honor to God.

Why are you not seen those works?

It is hard work that you have not being able to do yet! This is the wrong approach because to me it’s hard.
I believe many have done themselves the good works in some area, but you tell yourself that It was a mutual effort. Why would God not be interested in mutual effort.

God will not share HIS glory with you.

This is why many people when they aren’t of the family of God do great things. God knows you where capable of some things.
That will never compare to the things that God will do in that will only bring HIM honor and glory.
It was through your baptism that you barried the old you.

How am I to understand the works worthy of Repentance.

It is our life of faith that are worthy of repentance.
It is repentance that results in a transformed life. 2 Co. 5:17
2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
Symbolised in baptism. Rom. 6:3-4
Romans 6:3–4 ESV
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.
The other thing we learn in ephesians 5.8 is a change of status. Ga. 4:7
Galatians 4:7 ESV
So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.
1 Co. 3:15-16
En Ex. 34:32-35, muestra el velo que habla en 1 Co. 3:15-16.
Exodus 34:32–35 ESV
Afterward all the people of Israel came near, and he commanded them all that the Lord had spoken with him in Mount Sinai. And when Moses had finished speaking with them, he put a veil over his face. Whenever Moses went in before the Lord to speak with him, he would remove the veil, until he came out. And when he came out and told the people of Israel what he was commanded, the people of Israel would see the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face was shining. And Moses would put the veil over his face again, until he went in to speak with him.
The present of God will affect you.
Moses did not do anything to glow.
In many ways religious people act the same way as the people of the old testament. We act like we are Children of light when people see us, but when know one is watching we are ourselves. This is because we don’t want everyone to know who we really are.
