How Do I Become a Better Christian pt. 2

LIVE CHANGED: 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

PRAYER:

Prayer is essential to the Christian walk. It keeps you connected to God, it audibly makes your wishes known to God, and it keeps you focused on your spiritual battles at hand.

READING: Matthew 4:4 “But he answered, “It is written, “ ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ””

STUDYING:

ENGAGEMENT: James 1:22 “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”

Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” This is a command from the Lord. We are to be sharing our faith with others, and then doing our best to get them in a church. This is not so the church can e proud, this is not so they can amp up the numbers, it is so they will be under solid Biblical teachings and be under the conviction of the Spirit.

Romans 10:14-15 “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!””
