Today my message title is I will. but on the way over here i thought a more fitting name was

How many of you know that things around you shape you. Even if you aren’t aware of it.

Whatever shape that is PRESSING on that wet clay will shape that clay into what its going to become.
Some of yall are being pressed by things you dont see, so in the end you become something you dont recongize.
“Ive been reading my bible and I’ve been coming to church but im still living in this sinful life.”
NO something is pressing you harder than you are allowing Jesus to and its taking control of your actions.
Youre being pressed. By something you dont see. But today were gonna name it. TOday were gonna see it. Today were gonna stop it.!
Speak to the men. this is what we as men deal with. This isnt a message just for the men of this church. .BUt this is a precursor to this weekend.
We as men are pressed and shaped into this worldly idea of men and it tears us from our original created biblically based description of being a man. But if you listen today and you pray until Thursday and prepare yourself for break through its going to meet you in Fairview NC this weekend.
Today were going to take a break from the book of Hebrews .
today im gonna make you uncomfortable.
Ive been asking you to self reflect in the book of hebrews to really see if you hold and practice the fundamental theolgies that the christian faith need to be sustantial in your life.
simply:
What ive asked if that you look at your life and see if youve been paying attention to Jesus as much as he pays to you.
Weve Defined the Divinity of Jesus Christ , one thing i wish i added in our last few messages since we are attempting to vagualey but clearly cover the theological truths of the Word of God is i wish i would have added the Complete Divinity of God, which involves the Trinity
I hope we do understand at the most basic and i know Confusing at times but simplicit Truths of the Trinity that all Coequal
God The Father
God the Son Jesus Christ
God The Holy Spirit
However we have covered the Diviity and soverignty of Jesus Christ and we today are going to take a break YET were going to amplify it
Because were going to talk about lucifer, no not the tv show but the Devil.
In the church i can preach about .......
I can talk about the love and blood of Jesus Christ…ie the gospel.
I can talk about the truths found in Him and in His word.
I can preach about the fundamental truths of our faith and i preach about the image we should pertain as chritians.
All of those things are okay at church
Its still church if i preach about satan,
Its still church when i preach about Satan and how he Schemes to destroy
its still church when i preach against sin in your life.
Its church when i preach about you being set free and still church when i preach about your bondage.
COme one here. SOmeone in church this morning agree that church is an appropriate place to speak about and to uncover the lies of the enemy?
So today with this im not asking you to self reflect on your own life.
But im going to warn you the Word of God is going to divide your life into two pieces.
HEbrews 4 12-14
12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.
maybe this ( pertaining to sin in your life. most of you dont live in sin. Most christians live in the reprecutions of there sin. most people dont live in sin they live in the consequences of un dealt with sin. )
See sin corrups your relationship with God. So you sin become distant from God and live in that guilt. Sin brings condemnation and thats Satans best tool. Condeming you and leaving you high and dry.
But today were going to unravel satan and his schemes so we can see clearly the enemy.
Today Satan you will be revealed and then you will be no more.
We will be looking at the book of Ezekiel 28 and how many of you know that Isaiah knows alot about satan, The book of Isaiah breaks down who satan is and describes him and how he operates.
The book of Isaiah and ezekiel ives us this imagery of satan that clearly portrays who he is, we have to learn about him so we can be equip to know how to fight him and resist him and put him in his place.
Where did he come from what did he do whats gonna happen to him?
You know the only place we can learn about the devil is in the bible? Theres no other place. So when we need to become educated we go to the source. We dont go to reddit. we dont go to twitter, we arent reading a documentry…or watching on…we go to the bible.
So today. There may be 100 verses that we may see but its where we learn about our enemy.
Where did he come from...
The big question that everyone gets with the conversation of the devil.
Why did God created the devil.
16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.
God created the devil but he was a beautiful angel. He was beautiful, he was sinless.
Name lucifer refers to him being a light bearer.
See God did create lucifer but not with the purpose of being the prince of darkness.
HE was suppose to bring life and light in the fullness of God’s Glory for all eternity.
i have said it before and ill say it again. We must stop telling our kids they can do anything they want to do. Your kids cannot live a christian life and yet do what God has for them if they are striving after there own goals for life.

Goals are good. Save money for your kids to go to college.
Save money and to get out that rental property and buy your own home.
Save money so you can take vacation
Move up in your chain of work so you can make more money.
Im saying
When you have saved up for your child to go to college and that time comes, And theres no time prayer or thought that goes into the situation but you decide to send off with self aspirations and desires thats when you are off your rocker.
Let me ask you a question. Where does your kid get the idea of pursuit from?
Let me ask you a question you can answer where do you find the next thing you want? Whats the next best thing for you right now?
I can ask myself whats the next best thing for me.
we see bling and we want it.
We have to stop preaching in our homes you can do what you want. See we have these placks of Phil 4 13
13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
on the wall but we are taking scripture and utilizing it to live a life that is exact representation of The worlds motto.
If we only understnad that paul sint saying that he can do anything in his life and as long as he reaches out to God he will gain strength to do it.
No if you read the whole passage before and after you see paul is referring to trouble he endured.
he is spekaing to the church at philipi and saying once before i cried out and you didnt help me and i was upset you left me hungry with no shelter and all a lone i was stranded. but you know what its okayt because i learned to be what content in the suffering. Dependance on Christ to do His will.
We want the riches and fame of this world and think we will carry jesus with us yet in the suffering and poor attributes of life we dont even depend on him.
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
We must understand God created us. And we must read our bible so that we can see what and who we were created to be.
See we get to this place where God has created us with a definite purpose but instead we learn to define our own purpose.
“no im suppose to be doing this because i “think” that i like this, or i know that this suits me better”
lets look at a passage of Satan Becoming the fallen angel. And notice the distraction of His own will in this passage.
Ezekiel who we know was a man after God, bring this message to the king of tyre which gives us this amazing imagery of what it looks like to get distracted from God Creation and when people begin to focus on the creation.
12 “Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: “ ‘You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: carnelian, chrysolite and emerald, topaz, onyx and jasper, lapis lazuli, turquoise and beryl. Your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared.
14 You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones.
15 You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you.
16 Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones.
17 Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings.
18 By your many sins and dishonest trade you have desecrated your sanctuaries. So I made a fire come out from you, and it consumed you, and I reduced you to ashes on the ground in the sight of all who were watching.
19 All the nations who knew you are appalled at you; you have come to a horrible end and will be no more.’ ”
20 The word of the Lord came to me:
When we set our own lifestyle and pace of life we set this course and mindset attitude that weve done it.
Vs 14. when we talk about the cherub you are talking about the covering.
Satan when he was an angel and doing his work for God it is talking about here that he was always covering God.
Untill something terrible happen in vs 15 we see it says Ezekiel 28 15
15 You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you.
until he sinned.
we see what this sin in him was in vs 17 Eze 28 17
17 Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings.
Pride because of
his beauty. qualities shape, aesthetics , his charm on the people.
aka if we could call it 2022 Because of his Fame.
corrupted your wisdom…He had bad thoughts or his own ideologies.
because of your splendor his appearance.
Book of Isaiah gives us more details on this account
12 How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!
13 You said in your heart, “I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon.
14 I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.”
Isaiah ask this question how?
So his pride. he rebelled against God and was cast out of heaven.
15 You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you.
16 Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones.
17 Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings.
This is the account of Lucifer being cast out of heaven. Thrown out from the midst of God himself. with some 1/3 of the angels that were in heaven.
So we know where he comes from but that was along time ago who is he today?
Some of the names God gives him in the bible are
Satan used 52 times
aposer, or adversary
Called devil 35 times means slanderer accuser
called lucifer, sun of the morning, light bearer
what paul says about lucifer
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
he can transform into a false light.
he is the evil one
the anointed cherub
the ruler of this world.
this tranlates to the fact that satan he has a world system of demons all over the world that are controlling and manipulating the world.
Intensifying sin in this world.
God of this age.
prince of the power of air
referring too theres a spiritual influence over people.
the serpent portrays deceit and craftiness
hes called a dragon.
meaning he has a fierce nature and the power to destroy
rev 12 3-7,9
the accuser
the tempter
called a lier, deciever, murder, sinner, ruler of the demons, lord of the flies.
we must know our enemy so we can know where he is!
our next question is what does he do for a living?
he torments the christian people.
he torments the worlds inhabinants
he taunts non christians
the devil even torments those that are a part of his kingdom.
thats the ruler the world has one who torments and tears apart even those who serve him knowinly and unknowling.
Ohhhh how the world needs a savior that loves them and cares for them in all circumtances.
That cover them and walks with them. provides for them and lifts them up.
Listen the devil controls the world view, the society, the way it looks the way it cooks and the way it unfolds. the devil is at hand and foot trying his best to silence the name of Jesus.
The enemy likes to take the gospel and portray his own. Its the false Gospel that the enemy allows to be present. We call this wolves in sheeps clothing.
We have hinted this and touched base on it in the book of hebrews.
We have to hear this ignite.
Christians listen to me.
There are wolves in the pulpits of churches this very morning. No person walks to walk out out a seat of power until they have to. Unfortunately the false gospel is so hidden in the pulpit that it takes a while for us to see and notice it if we DONT KNOW THE DEVILS SCHEMES AND WAYS.
When a pastor a teacher an evangelist, prophetic ministry slips away from God they will stay in there pulpits.
The 2nd century church is rome had some pastors that began slipping away and seemed like they were preaching the gospel. THe church and individuals felt growth. They sinced the power of Holy SPirit still moving in the church. But as the pastor slipped more and more things become evident that the enemy is in the church and bringing a false teaching.
so how do you think the church and the individuals responded. Understanding not how long they have been deceived, how long they have been brought down, confused because the gospel sound right most the time.....Deciet begins to eat and corrupt and what....torment us from the inside out.
SO we as Gods children begin to slip away. We begin to eat up inside whats true and whats not.this my brothers and sisters in christ this morning is the devils goal.
To make us question whats real and whats not.
"Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream, Neo? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world? "

So really fast the three things we need to be aware of in our lives.
Pride.
Dont be scoffers, dont be prideful but hold your life with humility. In the suffering or in the riches hold near to your creator, Dont marvel in the creation.
Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.
Deception.
Dont take control but Serve. Dont take advantage of people or situations. Instead serve God by serving others.
Popularity.
Dont seek worldly fame and beauty but seek inner spiritual holiness.
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.
Forewarned
Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.
Jesus is looking for fat disciples.
Faithful, Available and Teachable.
Are you faithful, are you available to be used by him and are you teachable?
or are you want to run the show yourself? Because that was the issue with lucifer.
he chose his life and importance over the God.
If you are living your life over the God’s life then i have to tell you right now repent.
Christ jesus says we must hate our own lifes, take up our cross and follow him.
If you dont humble yourself right now and sit at the feet of jesus in repentance then when the day comes you will be cast into hell with lucifer where you will be in your final Days.
