TEST # 1 Yielding to the Spirit PROMPTINGS
John 16:13 CSB
13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth. For he will not speak on his own, but he will speak whatever he hears. He will also declare to you what is to come.
Note: This can be done in a couple of ways
A. The Holy Spirit Reminds you of Scripture or a Spiritual TRUTH you’ve learned before
Example: You need to forgive someone / Apologize to someone / Feeling Convicted about something or someone [ The Holy Spirit REMINDS you of it ]
B. The Holy Spirit can Prompt you to do something that’s not necessarily some verse but it’s just a prompting of the Spirit is wanting you to do.
Acts 8:29 CSB
29 The Spirit told Philip, “Go and join that chariot.”
Acts 11:12 CSB
12 The Spirit told me to accompany them with no doubts at all. These six brothers also accompanied me, and we went into the man’s house.
Acts 16:6–7 CSB
6 They went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia; they had been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia. 7 When they came to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them.
Note: At times The Holy Spirit will prohibit you from doing something
Note: At other times The Holy Spirit lead you to do something
Footnote: The more INTIMATE CONNECTION with God the more you’re be able to DISCERN how the Holy Spirit is speaking to you, leading you, guiding you along the way.
TEST # 2 Displaying the Fruit of the Spirit
LOVE / Agape — unconditional love
Note: Don’t let people STOP you from being who you REALLY are how God has DESIGN you, WIRED you & CALLED you to be
JOY — [ NOT HAPPINESS ]
Note: MOST CHRISTIANS are the MOST UN-JOYFUL people in the World
PEACE — Do you have strife - Jealousy - Division - Fussing
PATIENCE — [ Longsuffering ]
KINDNESS & GOODNESS — Do you go out your way to do nice things for people or are you ALWAYS on the receiving end.
FAITHFULNESS — over the things that God has given you to steward over

Defending your faith with someone that’s trying to challenge you
Trying to disciple somebody
Note: The Holy Spirit is Empowering you

TEST # 4 Worshiping & Praying in the Spirit
Ephesians 5:18–20 CSB
18 And don’t get drunk with wine, which leads to reckless living, but be filled by the Spirit: 19 speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making music with your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Footnote: Worshiping - Thankfulness - Gratefulness - Lifting Hands - etc...........
Note: This is Walking in the Spirit
Note: Be careful of your music
Praying in The Spirit
Jude 20 CSB
20 But you, dear friends, as you build yourselves up in your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
Note: When your prayers are being led & guided by the Holy Spirit ( And Scripture )
Note: This is NOT PRAYING IN TONGUES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Note: God will never require or command you to do something that is a gift if tongues is a gift that some believers have, then how can He command you to do something if every believer is not going to do it or have that gift ( 1st Cor. )
Example: Whistling with your fingers in your mouth some people can do it and some can’t because it’s not a gift
Galatians 5:16 CSB
16 I say, then, walk by the Spirit and you will certainly not carry out the desire of the flesh.
