What if you asked Jesus, “Why are you here? What do you aim to accomplish?” His answer is quite clear in his prayer for himself, for his first disciples, and for us on the night before he died. Out of our love and gratitude, we make his mission our own, and we reflect that affirmation on Mission Sunday and in all of life.
