When Paul met the disciples of John the baptist in Ephesus, he could tell that they were missing something. They had received the baptism of repentance but not in the name of Jesus and certainly not with the Holy Spirit. We need the baptism of water in Christ and specially the baptism of the Holy Spirit for empowerment.
