I want you to contemplate something for me as we talk about Jesus praying today.
I want you to think to your prayers, what is it that you pray for?
Is it the same thing that Jesus prayed for?
Prayer is one of the most misunderstood disciplines of discipleship, but hopefully John can clear it up for you as we begin in John 17:1 where he says:
Pray
Jesus prayers centered on the Father always.
Sure He prayed for the disciples and prayed for the sick and lame, but it was always centered on the Father, “so they will know!”
Just like where Jesus begins here in John.
Glorify
