Two things existed before God created the earth

Space and time – It got me to thinking
God is not bound by space or time

We want to believe

We want to believe God is looking out for us.

But we see the world – and it’s evil
ii.
We see our own heartache and troubles

I call it crawling in bed and putting the cover over our heads and just hide.

It can seem to us that the throne of the universe is empty.
i.
It can seem that God has just threw up his hands
But he hasn’t
God:
The Lord Reigns
a. God is still on the throne.
i. Revelation 19:6 (NLT) — 6 Then I heard again what sounded like the shout of a vast crowd or the roar of mighty ocean waves or the crash of loud thunder: “Praise the Lord!
For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns.

The biggest problem is not evil

But the presence of good.

This is not the day of judgment.
This is the day of salvation.

For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns.

He reigns in grace and not wrath

Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

When God Reigns from the Throne of Heaven
a. God already knows the outcome of your problem

God is looking out for us
i. Psalm 37:23 (NLT) — 23 The Lorddirects the steps of the godly.
He delights in every detail of their lives.

God is directing our paths

He delights in detail of our lives

God even takes this one step further

Psalm 37:24 (NLT) — 24 Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.

“If we stumble” even in our failures God’s grace catches us.
