God meets His people at the morning and evening sacrifices.
I want you to notice a few things.
A. The sacrifice was a morning and evening sacrifice.
B. These sacrifices were pleasing to God.
C. God met them and spoke to them during these times of sacrifice.
The big idea with the tabernacle and the whole process was about God dwelling with a sinful people.
D. God’s glory sanctified the tabernacle.
E. These times reminded them of who there God was and how He saved them.
The Psalmist met with God in the morning and the evening.
A. The Psalmist was up early.
B. The Psalmist cried out to God.
C. God’s word was the source of his hope.
D. The Psalmist refused sleep in exchange for meditation.
Specially, however, at night did he keep his eyes open, and drive away sleep, that he might maintain communion with his God.
He used the quiet of the night as a time for meditation.
Sacrifice your morning and evening to God.
Today I want to recommend to you this practice - the morning and evening sacrifice.
Time stamp your days by meeting with God in the morning and in the evening.
Two things are guaranteed:
God will meet with you there.
You will be reminded of your God and His redemption of your life.
