We all need to participate

Church isn’t a one person activity

We all have a role

Our roles can be different than others

God doesn't need us, but he chose us

God could do anything, but when Jesus came he chose us, he chose you

He could've have chosen anyone, but he chose you

Empowered

We need to be empowered in order to be used

It's not about us, but who God is in and through us

God empowers and gifts us for our specific role

Through the Spirit

Through the Bible

Through our abilities

My co worker who only worked hard when our boss was around

10 For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do.

Application 2

When we serve others we are doing it for God

It’s not about what others can offer us or whether we think they deserve it

It’s to show our love for God

And valuing what He values

What we do for others God considers us to do for Him
