To understand who a kingdom child is ,we need to know what a kingdom is.

kingdom is a country, state, or territory ruled by a king or queen.

So therefore a kingdom child is someone who belongs to a kingdom.Now the bible tells us that there are two kingdoms that are in world namely the Kingdom of Darkness(Satan) and Kingdom of God.

New Living Translation Chapter 1

13 For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, 14

The people in the Kingdom of God are those who have come to believe in the name of Jesus and the people in the kingdom of Darkness(Satan) are people who do not believe in the name of Jesus.

Why is there a need to be empowered as a kingdom child?

Anyone one who comes into the kingdom has a work to do for Jesus and therefore the need to be empowered.This work cannot be done by human strength but only through God’s power and ability.

The Lord said to Moses, “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, to work in every craft.(Ex.31:1-5)

And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him

(Matt.3:16)

When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Work

Since God loves everyone in this world he wants everybody to be saved from the kingdom of darkness(satan) and sin

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.(1 Tim 2:1-3)

So we do this work in two ways namely our transformed lives (fearing God,Obeying our parents,elderly people,being kind,nice to everyone and getting good grades.Secondly our testimony of the love of God (Good news) to our friends and family who are still in the kingdom of darkness.

How to get empowered

Open your heart and receive this empowerment since is a gift from Jesus to every child in the Kingdom
