Romans 8:6–7 ESV
For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot.
To Set: mindset n. — a habitual or characteristic mental attitude that determines how you will interpret and respond to situations.
Last week we dealt with our files…
(Remember) The physical body/soma is also a literal organic informational system that allows the mind to explore and analyze the external world around us through the five senses of the body
With data comes emotions.
Also attached to my files is my coping mechanisms
E-40 said… “We out here tryna function, man we out here tryna function.”
Coping refers to the process of managing, dealing with, or adapting to stress, challenges, or difficult situations in life. It involves the thoughts, behaviors, and strategies that individuals use to handle problems and emotional stress.
When my mind is set on the flesh… I will produce negative coping mechanisms

While these behaviors might offer temporary relief, they often lead to more harm and worsen the underlying issues.

pornography is included….
Effects: Can lead to addiction, financial or relational issues, and prevent addressing emotional or psychological needs.

Risky Behaviors
